Inside the Mind of the “Old Fox”: SBC’s Political Witchdoctor Foretells 2026 Election Shifts

This exclusive interview offers not only insight into the political future of Samia Bugwe Central but also a rare glimpse into the unique blend of traditional wisdom and mysticism that still holds sway in the region’s political sphere. The Old Fox’s predictions may well resonate in the minds of those who seek guidance in uncertain times. As the 2026 elections approach, we’ll soon see if his visions will become reality.

Interview with the Oldest Political Witchdoctor of SBC: The Old Fox Predicts the Next Elections

Setting the Scene:

The room was dimly lit with a smoky haze filling the air, adding a mystical touch to the already peculiar setting. The Old Fox, draped in traditional regalia adorned with beads and feathers, sat cross-legged on a woven mat, his hands resting on an assortment of talismans. His face bore the wisdom of countless seasons, with eyes that seemed to pierce through time itself.

Our journalist, notebook in hand, settled down across from him, ready to capture whatever prophetic insights this revered figure had to offer about the 2026 elections.

The Old Fox Speaks:

As the Old Fox adjusted his gaze, he began by waving his hand over a bowl of herbs, muttering incantations in a low, rhythmic chant. "The spirits of the ancestors are awake," he said. "They tell me that change is coming—a wave that will reshape Samia Bugwe Central."

He described his vision with a sense of urgency, predicting that new, young leaders would emerge, challenging the established politicians who have long held power. “The youth, the ones filled with fire and ambition, will rise," he declared, pausing as if listening to invisible voices. "They will not be silenced.”

Comic Scene 1: The Journalist’s Doubts

Comic Panel 1: The journalist leans forward, pen poised, looking skeptical but intrigued. “Do you truly believe in this generational shift? The elders have held their positions for decades.”

Comic Panel 2: The Old Fox raises an eyebrow, responding with a sly smile. “Believe? It’s not a matter of belief. It’s a matter of truth the spirits reveal.”

Comic Panel 3: A close-up of the journalist, now visibly interested, as he thinks to himself, “Perhaps there’s more to this than just tales…”

The Visions of Power Shifts:

The Old Fox went on, predicting upheaval within the political alliances that have historically defined Samia Bugwe Central. “Those who think they are secure will find their foundations cracking. The alliances, once strong, will fragment,” he intoned.

As he spoke, he took out an animal horn filled with sand and poured it onto the mat, letting the grains spread out randomly. Gazing at the patterns, he continued, "There will be a battle— not just of candidates but of ideas. The people will choose those who stand for truth and justice, even if it means breaking with tradition."

Comic Scene 2: The Journalist’s Awkward Moment

Comic Panel 1: The Old Fox leans closer to the journalist, gesturing toward the scattered sand. "Do you see it too?"

Comic Panel 2: The journalist, clearly flustered, squints at the sand. “Um...yes, of course,” he stammers, though his mind is clearly elsewhere.

Comic Panel 3: The Old Fox chuckles knowingly, “You see what you wish to see; the spirits see all.”

A Warning and a Blessing:

The Old Fox issued a final, cryptic message, "To those who pursue power for themselves, the ancestors warn: tread lightly. The time for self-serving leaders is over. A great reckoning is near, and only the just will stand."

He blessed the journalist before he left, waving a bundle of leaves over his head. “Go, tell the people what you have heard,” he said, smiling. “Tell them that the Old Fox has spoken.”

Comic Scene 3: The Exit

Comic Panel 1: The journalist is shown backing away respectfully, looking a bit dazed by the experience. “Thank you, Old Fox. I… I’ll be sure to tell them,” he says, half-bowing.

Comic Panel 2: The Old Fox watches him leave, a glint of amusement in his eyes, as he murmurs to himself, “Let them say the Old Fox still knows a thing or two.”

Beyond Regime Change: Why Africa Needs a Mindset Revolution

OPINION: Africa Must Move Beyond Regime Change Politics By Ouma Patrick, Aspiring Member of Parliament – Samia Bugwe Central Crown Media East Africa For decades, African politics has been trapped in a single, loud narrative: regime change. Citizens are told that their problems — poverty, unemployment, corruption, weak services — will magically disappear once a new group of leaders replaces the old. But Africa’s experience shows a harsher truth: regime change alone does not deliver transformation. Across the continent, opposition leaders gain popularity by condemning the failures of sitting governments. Yet once some of them enter the same systems they criticized — appointed to high offices, given access to state resources, or absorbed into government structures — they often become part of the elite they once fought. Their lives change; the lives of ordinary citizens do not. This political cycle has produced a troubling dependency mindset. Citizens have been conditioned to wait fo...

The Philosophy of Power: Rethinking Uganda’s 2026 Elections

By Ouma Patrick Aspiring Member of Parliament, Samia Bugwe Central For Crown Media East Africa As Uganda approaches the 2026 general elections, the nation once again stands at a crossroads—one familiar yet never identical to those before it. Politics in our land has never been a mere contest of ballots; it has always been a test of consciousness, a reflection of who we are, what we value, and what future we dare to imagine. To understand 2026, we must rise beyond the noise of rallies and slogans and interrogate the deeper forces shaping our democracy. 1. The Illusion of Choice vs. the Reality of Power Elections often present themselves as moments of choice. Yet in countries where state machinery heavily influences the electoral landscape, the ballot becomes less of a decision and more of a ritual. Uganda’s political terrain has long been defined by a central paradox: citizens are told they have power, yet the architecture of power often operates beyond their reach. Philosophers r...
