General Muhoozi Inspects Independence Celebration Preparations in Busia Amid Tensions Over Misuse of Government Funds


General Muhoozi traveled to Busia to inspect the preparations for the upcoming Independence Day celebration, which is set to take place at Busikho Primary School. Upon arrival, he was welcomed by some area leaders, who appeared panicky, fearing an imminent arrest over allegations of misuse of government funds and programs. With smiles betraying their guilty conscience, they greeted the general, even when it wasn't necessary.


During the visit, General Muhoozi commended the participants for their dedication to incorporating new aspects of military marching and songs. He praised the band for mastering the new repertoire and encouraged them to maintain the high standard. The celebration is expected to be graced by President Yoweri Museveni.
