Uganda Independence Day Preparations in Busia: Panic and Deception Amid Pressure Over PDM

       Independence Day Preparations. in busia:

Busia, Uganda – As preparations intensify for Uganda's Independence Day celebrations on October 9th in Busia District, uncertainty looms over whether President Museveni will attend the event in person. However, beneath the festive preparations lies a tense atmosphere, with local leaders scrambling to paint a favorable picture of progress amid growing pressure related to the Parish Development Model (PDM) and other government programs

Reports indicate that some area Members of Parliament have been feeding the president fabricated accounts of how well Busia is progressing. Parish chiefs and district leadership are similarly creating fictitious groups and projects in an effort to impress the president with a false sense of development. Fearful of the possible consequences if their deception is uncovered, some chiefs are even plotting to flee to Kenya and some leaders are most likely not to attend.

Reliable sources suggest that, should the president attend the ceremony, he already possesses a detailed intelligence report on the actual conditions in Busia. It is expected that some leaders who have misled him may face embarrassment during the event. Meanwhile, a group of elders and youths are secretly preparing to present the unfiltered reality of the district. They intend to raise concerns about widespread poverty, unemployment ,deteriorating infrastructure, inadequate healthcare and education facilities, and ongoing challenges in cross-border trade.

With these conflicting narratives at play, the upcoming Independence Day celebrations could turn into a day of reckoning for the district's leadership, as the president may be confronted with the true conditions of Busia  The failures of the PDM and other government programs

General Muhoozi’s Principle of Strategic Confusion

General Muhoozi’s Principle of Strategic Confusion By :JP king maker: The crown media East Africa  In the ever-evolving landscape of Ugandan politics and military influence, one name continues to spark debate and intrigue: General Muhoozi Kainerugaba. Known for his controversial tweets and unconventional public statements, General Muhoozi has become a polarizing figure. To some, his actions seem impulsive and erratic, while to others, they represent a calculated strategy—what we might call the "principle of strategic confusion." The Art of Underestimation Military theorists, such as Sun Tzu in The Art of War, emphasize the power of deception. By appearing disorganized, reckless, or weak, a leader can lure adversaries into complacency, giving themselves a strategic edge. General Muhoozi’s public persona—especially on social media—seems to echo this ancient wisdom. His tweets often appear casual, controversial, or outright provocative, leaving critics questioning his intention...
